Recipe: Rich Shadows & Soft Highlights
For lack of a better name, I’m just referring to this as how I see it: Rich Shadows & Soft Highlights. The key to this recipe is the L. Classic Negative. This profile works well for softening highlights. Using it, I recommend exposing for the darker areas to get that wonderful soft light. Also used in this recipe are two free recipes (Sample LUT 3 and “Urban and Street”). I balance the Light exposure by adding more shadows into the shot. Some examples are below, and the recipe follows:

In Photos / Photo Style, we set the following parameters:
- Profile: L. Classic Neg (L.CLAS.N)
- Shadow: -5
- LUT 1: “Sample 3 LUT” (orange and teal): Adjust it to 60%
- LUT 2: “Urban & Street” (found on the free Lumix Lab App): Leave at 100%
